If you’ve been following us over the past few months, you’ve heard the music of Raquel de Souza.

Now, she’s is back as the frontwoman of Raquel & the Wildflowers… and their first single rocks.

“Hot July (Summer Love)” gives de Souza a chance to show off her full vocal capabilities, as she sings of finding romance on the dance floor in the heat of the night. A classic, get-up-and-dance rock and roll energy makes up the single’s heartbeat, while the hot country fiddle of Catherine Lines gives the tune its down-home twang.
