The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Monday, July 29

We’re back to kicking off your week with a Daily Spinn that bursts out of the gates.

It’s tons of fun to dig back a little further into UMC archives and recall releases that we enjoyed, and give them new life on the site via this Daily Spinn thing we do. In this case, let’s take a trip to late 2018 and Old Flames, the full-length debut from These Fine Gentlemen.

The Indiana-based alternative rockers channeled numerous influences and emotions throughout the album’s 10 tracks, starting strong with opening song, “Choke.” Back in December, we noted the song’s “nuanced pop punk sensibility that adds a bright energy to the band’s hard rock edge.” Listening back, we can confirm that that assessment holds up.

See if you agree, and kick that week into high gear by checking it out below!
