The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Tuesday, July 30

So far, 2019 has been a good year to Billy Bauer Band.
The acoustic rock quartet — fronted by namesake singer-songwriter Billy Bauer and enhanced by the otherworldly electric violin of Chris Lorenzetti — find themselves with an opening gig for chart-topper Phillip Phillips at Musikfest, the nation’s largest free outdoor music festival, next Saturday, August 10 in their native Bethlehem, PA. On top of that, they have new releases on the way, expected to hit your favorite digital outlets later this summer and into the fall.
Then, there’s this song. “Birdman,” from 2011’s Maybe Tomorrow, is perhaps the band’s most popular and enduring tune. It was recently selected for the soundtrack of Adolescence, a full-length motion picture from Los Angeles-based Winterstone Pictures. The film has been premiering in select venues nationwide this summer and, well… we think that’s pretty cool. So, “Birdman” is today’s Daily Spinn!
