The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Tuesday, September 17

Coping with the loss of a loved one is a devastating experience. It’s something we’re never quite ready for, and it can take years to unravel the many ways in which a loved one has impacted your life.
Today’s Daily Spinn, Billy Bauer Band’s “So I Love,” was written with that in mind. Bauer addresses the topic of losing his father to pancreatic cancer, and the difficulties in coming to terms with the loss of someone so close and influential to your life, even many years down the line.
With that, “So I Love” also offers a message of hope. The refrain offers the resolve to take that person’s memory and use it to shine light on a world often in desperate need of love and clarity, ensuring that their legacy continues to act as a positive force for years to come.
We’ve all been through loss. I offer you this Daily Spinn as encouragement to choose light and love, even in darkness.
