The pop singer-songwriter has led off his 2020 with “I Can’t Stop It,” an upbeat single driven forward by a pulsing beat and marked by one of Cline’s signature big-time hooks. Cline sings about the push and pull of mixed signals, and the confusion of falling hopelessly in love with someone who is unclear on where they stand.
