When Guy Snowdon came to the United States from Birmingham, England, he brought his homeland’s penchant for anthemic guitars and hook-laden, accessible songwriting with him.

Now based in Cleveland, Snowdon is the bassist and vocalist for Guy Snowdon & The Citizens, a steady-rocking collection of musicians whose lineup includes guitarist Tyler Ray, keyboardist Billy Brock, and drummer Zachary LeFeber. Together, they’ve released a pair of debut singles — “Hammer Falls” and “Runaway” — that recall the glam-infused hard rock of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard, with subtle rhythmic nods to jazz and blues that hearken back to the heyday of Cream.

Joining The Citizens and adding depth on these two tracks was Cleveland-based guitarist, Dave “Ziggy” Deitke. Below, you can hear the fruits of their collective efforts!
