The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Wednesday, May 13

Tonight at 9 p.m., we’ll be on Facebook Live to co-present a special edition of The Writers Room with our friend Greg Gilman of Greg in Good Company.

So, let’s introduce you to one of tonight’s writers!

Hailing from sunny Los Angeles is Katie McGhie, an award-winning alt-folk and country artist. You’ve heard her as one-half of the duo Of Eden, alongside Air Supply’s Graham Russell, and you may have heard her single “I Can’t Make You Love Me” on the hit web series, #Adulting.

Today, you get to hear her latest single, “Home.” Re-released on April 24, “Home” is an upbeat contemporary country tune with a major-league hook. McGhie had this to say about the single on her website:

“At a time when the entire world has nowhere to go but home, and somehow home has never felt sweeter, I hope it can be a small reminder that no matter where you’ve found yourself during this time, you are loved and home is always just a step (or Face Time call) away.”

-Katie McGhie, on ‘Home’

Wherever you are, you can have a taste of “Home” below as today’s Daily Spinn!
