Rising LGBTQ dream-pop artist Nicolas McCoppin has been dubbed “the next Charli XCX.” His recent music video for his single, “Ur Love,” was named by VEVO as “Bound to Be a Hit,” joining the likes of Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Niall Horan, and Chloe MK on their “Incoming Pop” playlist.

We tell you this, of course, because we’re fortunate to have Nicolas join us tonight for a Facebook Live takeover at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Before we get there, though, how about we give you a taste of what to expect with his new single?

“Remember That Night” is a dancehall-ready anthem about falling in love for the first time. McCoppin’s smooth tenor vocals rest on top of an atmospheric modern pop soundscape, touched with a helping of luminous, new wave-inspired synths to lend a soaring feeling to the track.
