The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Monday, June 8

Earlier this spring, Leo Lauren released the second single from his upcoming EP, and we have to declare: infatuation has never sounded so good!

The pop-rock tune — appropriately titled “Lovesick” — is a deceptively bright tale of desire; one whose beachy SoCal vibes seem to smile through the pain of separation anxiety. Lauren sings as though he is frozen in a daydream, as his mind and heart wander together to the location of his beloved, leading him to fantasize about a place and time where they may meet again.

“Lovesick” was produced by Heather Baker (NoMBe, Bea Miller, Adam Lambert), with My Chemical Romance’s current drummer Jarrod Alexander behind the kit. Check it out as today’s Daily Spinn!
