The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Tuesday, June 9

Our dreams are often the fuel that keep us going, through the ups and downs of a creative pursuit. For A.C. Jones, her latest single makes her aspirations clear.
If you’re a country music fan, chances are the phrase “Stand in the Circle” already means something to you. For Jones, it represents her desire to, one day, perform inside of the sacred circle on The Grand Ole Opry’s stage. On “Stand in the Circle,” Jones impeccably captures what it’s like for fledgling musicians to chip away at a larger goal, one late-night dive bar gig at a time, while inviting listeners to share in her vision. In the end, we are left with a vivid image of Jones’ dream — to become part of the Opry family — finally coming to fruition.
“Stand in the Circle” was produced by Sean Giovanni at The Record Shop, and was released on June 5 — 77 years to the day that The Grand Ole Opry first took the stage at Nashville’s world-famous Ryman Auditorium. Check it out as today’s Daily Spinn!
