Friday night’s Live from the 615 twin bill was all about rock and roll, as fans tuned in from all over the United States to witness performances from Nashville-based rock acts Year of October and The Dirty Delusions.

This Virtual Showcase, brought to you by Live from the 615, was another chance for some of Music City’s rising stars to showcase their talents. First up was Year of October, whose dark, prog rock-inspired grooves powered their grunge-flavored brand of rock and roll forward all night long. The band performed selections from its 2020 album, Wastelands, as well as a handful of unreleased selections, giving viewers a taste of new music to come.

Following that up were The Dirty Delusions, whose performance was given in celebration of their new album, Too Young For Love, released on the same day. The celebration was a long time coming; the band had completed the writing process in late 2019, and weathered the COVID pandemic to release it with a raucous, guitar-heavy live stream performance.
